On Saturday I embark on a one-month walk of Korea. I'll be following the same path Simon Winchester wrote about in his 1988 book "Korea" in which he followed the route taken by the shipwrecked Dutchmen (documented by Hendrik Hamel) of 1653 from Jeju Island to Seoul.
