A New Bookcase

Finally I got a bigger bookcase to hold my growing collection of photobooks... even the cat was impressed (that's the old bookcase she's sitting on).

Thinking of home...

With everyday being below zero in Seoul I often think of the warm summer weather in NZ.

It's hard to imagine that this is just 10 minutes drive from downtown Auckland.

Happy New Year 1970

This photo came back from the lab with 1970.01.01 printed on it. It was in fact taken in Japan just a few years ago although it probably could be 1970. Perhaps it's some kind of sign? Anyway...Happy New Year!

The Auckland Project by John Gossage and Alec Soth
Finally after ordering this book from Amazon in July 2010, it arrived last week. It was worth the wait.
Two books, one by Soth (the foldout poster), the other by Gossage.
Very interesting and beautiful photos taken around Auckland, New Zealand.
One of the best photo books of 2011 (and I'm sure I'm in no way biased even though Auckland is my hometown).
